HOPE TAKES FLIGHT: Another 836 Nigerians Safely Evacuated from Sudan Land in Abuja

A seventh group of stranded Nigerians in Sudan arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, totaling 836 passengers aboard an Azman Air carrier. The group included 324 evacuees, while the sixth batch arrived earlier with 102 passengers on Tarco Airline from Port Sudan. Another group of 410 passengers left Aswan International Airport in Egypt and landed in Abuja on MaxAir. The Head of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols Unit of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Mr. Abdur-Rahman Balogun, confirmed the safe arrival of the passengers and expressed gratitude that no Nigerian life was lost. Air Peace is expected to arrive later with more passengers.
