He also reported that Joseph Friday was apprehended on Saturday at Iyana Ira in Lagos with 58.7kg of Indian hemp concealed in his Toyota Camry.Additionally, on May 3, NDLEA operatives uncovered a mini factory where Bakare Taofeek was producing “skucchies” near Safari Onikolobo in Abeokuta. According to Babafemi, the items discovered from the factory were 4kg of black currant drink mixed with Indian hemp, 255 litres of “skucchies,” and 1,880 tablets of tramadol. Other items confiscated included three deep freezers, 735 grams of Indian hemp, two gas cylinders, and two cooking pots.Furthermore, NDLEA officers who were assigned to courier companies intercepted blocks of compressed brown methamphetamine, which were packaged as soap bars and weighed 1.54 kilograms, bound for Australia. The seizure, which occurred on Tuesday at a courier facility in Lagos, was a follow-up to a previous interception of 3.389kg of the same substance on February 23.
