The Lagos PDP governorship candidate, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor), expressed his joy and hope for the nation following the Supreme Court’s decision to validate the election of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State. Adediran congratulated Adeleke and the people of Osun State, stating that the judiciary had rekindled hope for Nigerians by affirming the Appeal Court’s decision that Adeleke was duly elected as governor. He urged the people to continue supporting Adeleke’s mission to transform the state and called on the judiciary to uphold the will of the people consistently. The Supreme Court upheld the Court of Appeal’s ruling on March 24, declaring Adeleke as the rightful governor of Osun, and dismissed the appeal filed by former Gov. Gboyega Oyetola for lacking merit.
