President Tinubu Concludes Paris Summit, Embarks on Private London Sojourn

President Bola Tinubu concluded his official visit to Paris on Friday, where he actively participated in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron. The Nigerian leader, known for his advocacy in widening the fiscal space and promoting economic justice for Africa, engaged in high-level meetings with fellow heads of state, global business leaders, and chief executives of prominent multilateral and development finance institutions from across the globe.In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, Dele Alake, it was confirmed that President Tinubu had departed Paris for London on Saturday. Initially scheduled to return to Abuja on the same day, he extended his trip for a short private visit. The statement, titled ‘After successful Paris outing, President Tinubu off to London on a private visit,’ assured the public that he would be back in the country in time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival.During the Paris summit, President Tinubu capitalized on the global stage to amplify his message on the need to expand the fiscal space, particularly for Africa, as the world rapidly progresses towards energy transition.
