Prominent Pharmacist and Union Leader Kidnapped by Bandits in Plateau State

In a concerning incident that unfolded on Wednesday night in Plateau State, Pharmacist Kim Bot, a prominent figure within the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, was abducted by a group of unidentified bandits. According to sources, Pharmacist Bot was making his way home after completing his workday when he fell victim to this harrowing ordeal.

The exact details of the abduction are still emerging, but it is reported that the assailants intercepted Pharmacist Bot’s vehicle, forcibly took control, and subsequently spirited him away to an undisclosed location. The Plateau State Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Kaneng Pam, was unavailable for immediate comment on this alarming incident. Nevertheless, a fellow member of the association in the region confirmed the abduction, shedding light on the victim’s identity as the State Secretary of the PSN in Plateau State.

The abduction took place along the precarious Lamingo Road Junction, situated in the Jos North Local Government Area of the state. Disturbingly, this particular stretch of road has garnered notoriety for a spate of kidnappings in recent times, making it a cause for heightened concern among residents.

According to an unnamed pharmacist familiar with the situation, Pharmacist Kim Bot was traveling in his Honda Hennessy gold-colored car at approximately 8 pm when the abductors launched their attack. Tragically, he was forcibly taken away in his own vehicle, and his whereabouts remain unknown at present.

In response to this distressing incident, the pharmaceutical community has united in condemnation of the abduction of one of their prominent union officials. Law enforcement has been alerted, and the matter has been officially reported to the police. However, the Spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command, Alabo Alfred, has thus far remained inaccessible to comment on the situation, despite attempts to reach him.

As this unsettling incident continues to unfold, the community anxiously awaits updates on Pharmacist Kim Bot’s safety and the efforts to bring those responsible for this reprehensible act to justice.
