Tiwa Savage Postpones Historic Wembley Concert Due to Health Challenge

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Tiwa Savage, has regrettably postponed her highly-anticipated performance at the iconic Wembley Arena, citing undisclosed health issues. The singer, who was set to dazzle her fans with the “Tiwa Savage and Friends” concert on November 26th, was poised to make history as the first female Afrobeats artist to headline the renowned 13,000-seat venue.

In a heartfelt announcement shared on her Instagram page this Tuesday, the artist, who is also a mother, revealed that the show’s postponement is due to her ongoing battle with a “virus.” Her medical condition necessitated a prescribed “vocal rest” that is expected to span several months. In her statement, she addressed her devoted fans, affectionately referred to as “Savage Soldiers,” explaining, “I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances, including my first-ever headline arena show in London.”

Expressing her profound disappointment, Tiwa Savage stressed the importance of prioritizing her health, emphasizing, “I’m so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I’m fully healed.”

Throughout 2023, Tiwa Savage has enjoyed a stellar year, marked by a string of hit songs and noteworthy collaborations. Most notably, she graced the coronation ceremony of King Charles, the British monarch, in May 2023, solidifying her status as an international music sensation.
