Barber Arrested in Kwara State following the Death His Girlfriend during Sex
The Kwara State Police Command has apprehended a middle-aged man operating a barbershop in Ilorin, the state capital. He was taken into custody following the alleged death of a girl during a sexual encounter on Monday.
On Tuesday, the police confirmed the incident and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the young woman’s death. She reportedly passed away after engaging in a sexual activity with her boyfriend at a guest house in Ilorin, located in the Temidire community, Offa Garage area.
According to reports, the middle-aged man, who owns a barbershop, went to the guest house with his girlfriend for a leisure outing. There are unconfirmed claims from community members that he may have consumed drugs in an attempt to impress his girlfriend, which ultimately resulted in a tragic outcome.
During their outing, the girl reportedly became fatigued and lost consciousness. At this point, she became helpless and tragically lost her life. The man raised an alarm when the young lady became unconscious, drawing the attention of guest house staff. They rushed her to a nearby hospital where her death was confirmed.
The owner of the guest house reported the incident to the Police ‘A’ Division in Ilorin, leading to the subsequent arrest of the middle-aged man. The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the incident and stated that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
“The incident is indeed true. The state police command has taken the man into custody, and a comprehensive investigation has been initiated to establish the details of what transpired between the man and the deceased,” SP Okasanmi Ajayi said.
