Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has reportedly returned to the country following an extended medical vacation in Germany. Governor Akeredolu, who had been abroad for several months receiving medical treatment, is said to have touched down in Nigeria on Thursday.

Confirmation of his return came through a social media post on the handle of his wife, Betty Akeredolu. Accompanied by a picture of the governor aboard an airplane, Mrs. Akeredolu captioned the post with a simple yet telling message: “Homebound.”

Additionally, the Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr. Wole Ogunmolasuyi, corroborated the news of Governor Akeredolu’s arrival. According to Ogunmolasuyi, the governor has already taken up residence in Ibadan, emphasizing, “We thank God the governor has arrived in the country. He landed in Abuja and moved straight to Ibadan.”
