In a heart-wrenching revelation, Mr. Joseph Ayoba, the grieving father of the late musical sensation, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Ayoba, known by his stage name Mohbad, has shared a poignant account of a harrowing dream he experienced just two days prior to the tragic demise of his beloved son.

The world came to a standstill as the vibrant ‘Ko Por Ke’ singer breathed his last on a fateful Tuesday, followed by a somber farewell in Ikorodu the very next day. An outpouring of grief emanated from family, friends, and empathetic well-wishers who paid their respects.

Mr. Ayoba, his eyes heavy with sorrow, candidly recounted his unique bond with his late son during an interview with online blogger @og_baba1 on a melancholic Wednesday. He described their relationship as transcending the conventional father-to-son dynamic, portraying it as more of a profound friendship.

He went on to share the poignant details of his final encounter with the young artist, a memory now etched in the annals of his heart. Last Saturday, he made a visit to Mohbad’s residence, where they shared a heartfelt lunch.

“Mohbad is my friend. I called him Oladimeji (meaning my second) because I’m the only son of my parents. We were close. The last day we met, which was last Saturday, I went there (Mohbad’s house) and we dined together. When I was leaving, he also gave me some money like he always did,” Mr. Ayoba poignantly narrated.

Yet, amidst these cherished memories, a chilling premonition had cast an ominous shadow. Mr. Ayoba revealed that two days before the tragic incident, he had a haunting dream. In this distressing reverie, he found himself in the crosshairs of an assailant’s firearm, narrowly escaping a lethal bullet. Little did he know that this nightmarish vision would foreshadow the impending tragedy that would shatter his world.

Regarding the circumstances surrounding his son’s untimely demise, he disclosed, “According to what I heard from people, though I don’t believe it, an auxiliary nurse administered him an injection, and that could have led to anything.”
