Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ekiti State Command, has apprehended Sogo Onilearo on charges of sexually assaulting his 7-year-old stepdaughter. The 29-year-old suspect is accused of raping the young girl in Aisegba Ekiti, resulting in injury to her genital area.Tolu Afolabi, the NSCDC spokesperson in the state, released a press statement in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, providing details of the incident. Afolabi further reported that the command had also arrested Femi Musa and Ilya Syrajudeen for their involvement in theft, burglary, and conspiracy.Officers from the Counter Terrorism Unit of the NSCDC captured Musa at various locations in Ado Ekiti, where he was found in possession of a significant quantity of illicit drugs, suspected to be cannabis sativa, in the Oshodi area. Surajudeen was apprehended at a poultry farm while attempting to steal wires and other property.Afolabi emphasized that a thorough investigation will be conducted, after which all suspects will face prosecution for their alleged crimes.
